The state government approved School Mentorship Outreach Program kicked off on September 29, 2022 with a visitation to the assigned secondary schools(Niger college and Oredo girl’s college) in Benin City, Edo State.

The Western Iyamu Global Foundation visiting team led by the Executive Director- Miss Angela Ijeoma Ogbu; alongside other officials, Welfare Director – Mrs. Marian Efezino-Abel, Mr. Kingsley Oriahbure Oaikhena – Executive Secretary, Westerners Worldwide, Mrs. Charity Uyi-Edegbe- Director of Finance, Westerners Worldwide and Mr. Joel Akpoyomare – WIGF Public Relations Officer were welcomed by the School Principals of each school.

The visiting team worked out modalities of operations and promised to kick-start the students’ mentoring fully by October, 2022.
